France: Nice insolite restaurants in Paris

France is famous for its cuisine and every family and region has its own way of cooking: a single dish can have a so different taste from one restaurant to another. If you are visiting Paris for the first, you would probably like to take the time to have a good dinner in a very nice restaurant. But Paris is huge, and finding the right place to have a good memory and a tasty dinner can be very difficult. Let me give you 4 very nice options (insolite restaurants and:)

Le wagon bleu

Rendez vous au wagon bleu! You will eat southern cuisine (corscican), in a very nice and insolite place: a real train converted into a restaurant ! Dishes are tasty, prices are correct, and the place is calm and awesome! You will find this restaurant next to "Rome station" (line 2).

La table des gourmets

Another uncommon restaurant is "la table des gourmets", which is located.... in a old underground church! The restaurant is hold by a chinese family, but the cuisine is french and good! The place is also calm and mysterious! Price are really cheap for the place. You will find this restaurant next to "Chatelet" (line 1). The main entrance of the restaurant is very different than the underground, so don't be surprised!

Le train bleu

For me, the best restaurant in Paris! Very beautiful, very friendly waiters, perfect dishes, quite expensive but prices are really affordable. Le train bleu is indeed worlwide known and is located in "Gare de Lyon" (line 14). The restaurant was built at the end of the XIXth century in a Baroque style (means it can be compared to Versaille).

Le refuge du passé

This last restaurant is probably the most authentic of the four! You will eat in a place which will be full of old things ("le refuge du passé" means "where the past is hidden!"). Prices are not that expensive: the wine and the food worth the price! And the chef is also friendly :) The closest subway station is "Gare d'Austerlitz" (line 10).
