Korea: Lantern Festival in Seoul

If you are travelling in Korea in November, don't miss the Lantern Festival! There is several cities in Korea where you can join this event, but the most famous place is probably in Cheonggyecheon Stream in Seoul :)

During several weeks, and at night, you will see different scenes and characters lighting in the dark ! This is really a good opportunity to have an after dinner walk in Seoul ! However, the weather starts to be cold in November, so be careful ;)

Please note that you wont be the only one to enjoy the place ! If you can, try to go there after 10pm and in weekdays, there will be less people around! The river can be really crowed on saturday night for example and you won't really enjoy your time!

The Cheonggyecheon river is easy to find: between the Gyeongbokgung palace and the city hall (Gwanghwamun station, line 5) ! You can get more information there :)
