Korea: Try traditional costumes for free!

Korea is offering very active tourism informations service! Even in foreign countries, you can sometimes get travel guide books for free! If you are looking for global information in Korea, you can contact your Korean embassy and ask them guide books, they will provide you very interesting ones (like a small "lonely planet") I used this website for getting mine in France.

Another exemple of this high level of tourism information service is that you can experiment several cultural activities in different tourism centers (you will even find one in Incheon airport!).

The most funny experience for me was defenetly trying tradtionnal costumes! I found this free activity on this website. It's really easy to participate! You just have to go to the tourism center the morning and subscribe ! Actually, there is no advanced booking: those who want to try these costumes just have to book a time by visiting the tourism center the day they want to go (that,s why the sooner you go the better it is!).

As far as I know, the best place to join this activity is at the Seoul Global Culture & Tourism Center, located next to Myeongdong station. Detailed information (address, times, pictures,...) are on this page
